The Foundation is currently seeking volunteer Board Members who understand the start-up environment. You must be a responsible professional who is passionate about peace building. Multicultural experience strongly preferred.


  • Meet (or conference call) every quarter
  • Donate financially to the Foundation
  • Fundraise for the foundation
  • Broaden awareness and support for the Foundation's work both on- and off-line
  • Raise the profile of the Foundation
  • Set strategic direction of the Foundation
  • Spearhead committees (dependent on expertise/experience)
  • Guide the Foundation with your professional expertise


  • Non-profit Board experience preferred
  • Expert knowledge in one of the following
    • law (non-profit, international, human resource, human rights)
    • technology (IT and web development)
    • fundraising
    • accounting (non-profit, international)
    • marketing/pr
    • science
    • peace-building
    • education (esp. early childhood up to pre-college teens)
    • media

Language requirements:

  • English fluency a must
  • Fluency in the language of the country in which you plan to work
  • Additional languages strongly preferred

We run a virtual office. Therefore, there is no geographical restriction as long as you can attend the virtual Board meetings via Skype or phone

Application process:
Those who are interested in Board Member positions must volunteer consistently/do a project with the Foundation for a minimum of 30 hours within a three-month period before applying to become a part of the Board of Directors.
